We are thrilled to have created a partnership with Prevent Child Abuse America and designed customized training and educational resources for our team members to help further enforce the positive learning environment throughout the café experience.

Our exclusive partnership with Hampton Creek provides a sustainable solution for activating our positive messages. With their delicious Just Cookies and the #JustStandUp campaign we have created a new way to engage students in preventing bullying/peer abuse.

Our efforts to supporting healthy, safe school experiences for students through collaboration with PCAA is just one way our commitment to developing the whole child resonates in our partnership. Supporting student lifestyles - nutritionally, academically and socially - helps set them up for a lifetime of health and wellness.

Community Farmer’s Market & Local Produce Fair

Access to fresh fruits and vegetables for students and families’ meal preparation outside of school is critical to reinforcing lifelong healthy habits. Chartwells, in coordination with with the DeSoto Independent School District, will host a biannual Community Farmer’s Market for students and families. Local suppliers, farms, and market partners bring fresh produce directly to school. Produce from the market allows students to take our messaging of health choices home with them. Chartwells and DeSoto ISD will partner with local businesses to create a community presence which will advocate lifelong health and wellness practices for students, their families, and their communities.
